Ribl is a publishing house that happens to run on software. This document sets the type, the marks, the colors, and the language of the imprint. Use it as a working reference. Read it once, then keep it on the shelf.

§ 01 — The Mark

A publisher's colophon.

The mark is a colophon — a single serif R inside a thin circle, with one gold tick where the leg meets the baseline.

§ Anatomy

  1. 01The circleA hairline stroke at 0.6 of the mark's diameter, never solid.
  2. 02The R.Set in SK Quadratica — the brand mark face.
  3. 03The gold tickA single 1.8px dot in aged-foil gold at the foot of the R's right leg.
  4. 04ClearspaceMargin of at least one R-height on all sides. Print at 24px minimum.
